What documents are available?
Official public records, such as grant deeds, deeds of trust, and liens, recorded in Sacramento County since 1850, are available for viewing at any of our office locations.
Sacramento Countys Official Records Index is available online to perform a search by party name. Be sure to notate the book and page number if you want to order a copy of the document.
Court records, such as divorce decrees and court orders, are available from the Sacramento Superior Court.

How do I get a copy?
Official Record copies are available by mail, email, fax, or in person at any of our office locations.
To order by mail, email or fax, complete the copy request form its entirety and return it to our office. The return address, email, and fax number are on the form itself.
To order copies by telephone, contact us.

How much does a copy cost?
Certified copies: $12.00 for the first page and $2.00 for each additional page.
Non-certified copies: $11.00 for the first page and $2.00 for each additional page.

How do I pay for my copies?
In-person orders: ATM/debit card4, cash, check1, or money order
